She/Her
I'm the founder and therapist at Creative Expressions Pittsburgh.
I have a passion for using art as a tool for growth. As an artist and Board Certified Art Therapist, I believe in the transformative, healing power of the art process.
I'm also a Licensed Professional Counselor. In my work, I strive to create a safe and supportive environment for people to explore their emotions and reach their goals.
In addition to working with Pittsburgh's hearing community, I'm committed to providing inclusive and culturally responsive mental health treatment to Pittsburgh's Deaf and HoH community.
With over ten years of experience working in community mental health in Pittsburgh, I've had the honor of working with individuals who experience a wide range of mental health conditions.
Opening up to a therapist can be tough.
I'm here to listen.
I've had the honor of helping a variety of folks experiencing many different challenges. Some of my areas of competence are working with individuals who experience the following conditions:
Depression | Trauma | Anxiety | Grief | PTSD
Low Self Esteem | Low Confidence
Relationship Challenges | Mood Swings
Borderline Personality | OCD
Social Anxiety | Phobias | Nightmares
All sessions are offered either in person at my East Liberty office
or via Telehealth.
A little more about me
When I'm not being a therapist, you can probably find me knitting a wool shawl or a colorful hat with a cat in my lap.
If I'm not knitting, I'm likely outside on a hike enjoying the trees.
As a sensitive introvert, I'm usually the listener in the conversation picking up on details others might have missed -which definitely lends to my skill as a therapist!
